Tropical Marine
Buyer Beware
“We bought a boat in 2012 from Tropical Marine, the boat has ran fine and we thought everything was ok... Until we went to trade our boat in on a bigger boat at a larger and apparently more reputable dealership in Austin! It looks like not only was our boat repainted on the outside (which explains why they had listed the wrong color on the title, according to the inspection, it was highly likely that our boat was used as a rental prior to being repainted and sold to us). As first time boat owners we were naive... buyers beware and make sure you know what you are getting from these people if they are even still in business! ” -

The Trading shit Post Co.
WATERPORTS UNLIMITED THIEVES AND CON MEN
“I worked here for a short while until I found out what J.R. Fulton and Chris Ellis do to people! J.R. and Chris are CON MEN, THIEVES AND CROOKS!! \n \nThere are no certified marine mechanics on the property. Chris Ellis claims to be a marine/boat mechanic but has no formal training, certification or schooling! How can you advertise you are a trained marine mechanic with no TRAINING? Also, they claim they have another mechanic that shows up when he feels like it- This guy moonlights from his real job as a Dallas County School District HVAC TECHNICIAN!!!! LMAO!!!! Didn't know they taught you how to repair heating and air conditioning on BASS BOATS!!!! \n \nJ.R. and Chris have RIPPED NUMEROUS CUSTOMERS OFF and this has been done FOR YEARS!!! I can attest to this behavior as I have witnessed this firsthand. \n \nIf you have been ripped off, feel free to contact me. Complaints filed already with appropriate authorities and agencies. \n \n” -

Boats Etc.
poor
“Las june I had an accident in my boat, Took it to Boats ETc for repairs, Absolutely the worst experience if evere had, The shop manager, Donnie gave me the run around and double talk constantly, Overcharged my insurance company for repairs, Did not use parts and charged my insurance company for them, Put the same used parts back on the boat then charged for them, My boat leaks in the live bait well over flowing to the bilge area, Now wanting to charge me again to fix the boat right!! can you believe that, Guess you could say they are outright thieves!!! So unhappy with my results, Would not recomend this dealer to anyone anytime, A pure Rip Off!!!”
