SERVICE
“We store our boat at OC Marina & recently \nhad them do some repair work. They are very \nhonest people & do quality work at a reasonable cost. They do not do anything that is not needed. We have had our boat for 24 years and that is the only place that has ever worked on it. Ron is a great guy to work with. ” -

Good customer service
“I purchases a brand new Rogue Jet Coastal 22 with a Yamaha 225, 9.9 kicker and had a hand full of other items added at the time of purchase. I was on vacation in the Coos bay area when I found the boat. I was a bit nervous buying a boat 4 + hours from my home in the Portland area but Scott and the other employees came through when I ran into a problem. They delivered the boat up to my house and the first time I took the boat out the main motor would stall under light load after several minutes or almost instantly under heavy load. I ended up having to use the kicker motor to get back to the dock. After spending a lot of $$$ on a brand new boat I was pretty ticked. I called down to Y Marine and told the service guy what happened and he said it didnt make any sense. He said they did a test run and everything work fine. Scott the owner ended up calling me back minutes after getting off the phone with the service department and offered to send one of his techs up to take a look at the problem then next day so I wouldnt have to drive the boat 4+ hours each way. Turns out the fuel line through the motor housing was being pinched by the battery cables causing the motor to starve for fuel. My experience didnt start out very good but they came through in the end and stood by their product. Mistakes happen and I havent had an issue since then so I would do business with them again.” -

Stevens Marine
JJJP
“just a little insight.......... \n \nPage Stevens counts his money and drives high end sports cars and thats all I knew about him because he wouldnt acknowledge me or give me the time of day. I worked my A$$ off for them 1997-1998, washed 50 boats a day and moved outboard motors over my shoulder for 2 years. No room for advancement, I even learned rigging on my own time and was trying to show as much initiative as much as any kid could and still did not earn any more opportunity or respect from them. I dont know if Paul is still there or not but he was a snake. I honestly dont remember the parts guys being all that bad but then again i was a slave to them and not a customer at the time, nor will I ever be a customer of theirs. \n \nI now own a North River, thanks guys! ” -

“Absolutely the worst parts and service dept. I have ever encountered. They have dropped the ball every time I had to use them. Never again. Page Stevens is asleep at the helm because I'm sure he has no idea how bad the Tigard store is.”
